Burmese Green Male (Pavo muticus spicifer)

The male differs considerably from the other subspecies. The facial skin is not as brilliant blue and yellow. Overall color is much duller and bluer. The throat is dark blue. The neck and breast feathers have grayish verditer borders. The back is more bluish and less golden. Wing covert feathers are black with only a narrow dark blue border. The abdomen and flanks are duller and bluer. Burmese Green bred to Burmese Green breed true.
